An article in the April 31, 2004, Delta Farm Press about the staple length of the 2003 cotton crop contained an error. The article stated that 78.5 percent of cotton classed in the Lubbock classing office measured 34 staple and lower. The actual amount measuring 34 and below for Lubbock was 63 percent.
