Elton worked as editor of a weekly newspaper and was associate editor of a cotton magazine before joining Delta Farm Press in March, 1993. He was named editor of the publication in July, 1997, but he doesn't figure the promotion will mean he'll be spending any less money on windshield wiper fluid
