Clarification

AN ARTICLE about a new on-board module builder in the Jan. 6 edition of Delta Farm Press should have listed the following numbers for the evolution of the cotton picker on producer Jimmy Hargett's farm over the last 43 years:

The one-row picker, 1 acre an hour; the two-row picker, 2 to 3 acres an hour; the four-row picker, 4 to 5 acres per hour; and the six-row picker 10 to 11 acres an hour. Hargett, the producer from Bells, Tenn., interviewed for the article, said he has harvested up to 400 bales a day with four six-row pickers.
