Bootheel Irrigation Conference Dec. 16

The 2008 Bootheel Irrigation Conference and Tradeshow will be held Dec. 16 in Rone Hall at the University of Missouri Delta Center in Portageville. Coffee and donuts will be served starting at 7:30 a.m.

This year’s conference theme is “Revisiting some old irrigation practices.” Among the topics to be covered: controlled subsurface drainage, remote irrigation (telemetry equipment linking office and field), reducing irrigation energy costs, controlling the flood in rice, everything you need to know about pumps/diesel engines, electrical load management options, and water-tolerant soybeans.

Lunch will be served.
