THE ALCORN STATE University will host its Annual Sweet Potato Jamboree/Fall Vegetable Field day Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The theme is “Enhancing Farm Income through the Adoption of Alternative Enterprises.”

The activities will take place at Alcorn State University Extension/Research Demonstration Farm and Technology Transfer Center in Mound Bayou, Miss. The field day begins with registration at 9 a.m. Registration will be followed by demonstrations, speakers, and discussions of agricultural developments.
